FREE HUMAN FACTORS PRESENTATION - CAPE TOWN
Colleagues As promised, I have organised for Dr Nicklas Dhalstrom to present in Cape Town on the 18 July 2012. What I need to find out is, who will be interested and where should it be held, current locations, Stellenbosch or Morningstar. He is a brilliant presenter and I'm sure everyone would benef...

Re: FREE TRAINING
As a microlight pilot and very new gyro pilot, I would like to mention that this presentation applies to us as well - it will really get you thinking about your flying and I hope it will enhance your flying.
I need as much support on this one as possible, look forward to seeing you there.

Re: FREE - TRAINING
Just a quick update on the presentation. The response has been very good, thank you to those who have PM'd me or sent an acknowledgement via the forum. We're in the process of organising a venue, we should have an idea were this can take place very soon. Targeting the 8 Nov at 1930, pending venue av...

Re: Free - Human Factors Presentation
Colleagues
Are pilots still actively flying LSA, gyro's and microlights - I'm surprised there is no response to the above.
Please take note that you don't have to be flying a metal or carbon aircraft to exercise threat and error management, this I believe will be of value to all pilots.

All Pilots I have managed to organise a colleague (Phd in Human Factors) to do a presentation whilst he is in SA covering Single pilot CRM, cultures, threat and errors (errors are one of his specialities) and distractions. He presents at international and regional safety events and I believe SA airc...

Re: Another Proud Gyronaut Solo in the Western Cape
Gents I know it's belated but thank you very much for all the wishes of congratulations. Len Your words were very kind, stating that the gyro and I bonded, I however believe I just hung on for dear life! It was great to be flying again! Many thanks for the great instruction. Although it was going to...

Re: North meets South 2011 - Gariep 20-22 May 11, 73 GYRO'S
Gents Earlier this month, after finally seeing the light, I obtained my gyro rating. I would however like to pass a comment to all you gyronaughts /gyro people / gyro pilots - above all gyro enthusiasts. In my 25 years of aviation I have never come across a group of individuals so passionate and ent...

Re: SAGPA AGM 2010
Gents Please can someone explain to me why it is beneficial to belong to the Gyro Pilot Association? From what I read, you want to create your own power kingdom to duplicate the tasks required by the regulator and RAASA, why on earth do you want to become involved in taking action against violators ...

Re: Flying into Botswana
Thank you for the reply, I thought as much but wondered how others had got away with taxiing through the border posts.
I agree with you that all it takes is one cowboy to cock it up for everyone!
Once again, thank you.

Flying into Botswana
Greetings
Can someone please advise me as to whether one, when flying a gyro, has to clear immigration/customs at an airfield port of entry/exit or can this be done at a normal border post by taxiing through. I've seen photo's of guys going through by taxiing - what's the lowdown on this?
Cheers

Magni gyro's
Why are there so many Magni Gyro's for sale at the moment?
Is there some sort of legislation preventing them from flying or is this just a mere coincidence?
Cheers
