So, for 2 weeks, it's R 500.00 Call the airport, and ask for the apron office to organise it. We have a heli based the...

TO be honest, I don't know if it is weight shift or 3 axis that he is after, but I am thinking weight shift. ...

Re: 16-19 March - no fly zone 50 NM from stadiums

Guys, I am posting this from a work point of view, not a recreational flying point. We had (at Rand), a very informative presentation from Colonel E. De Villiers on tuesday this week. Yes, it is a pain in the bum, but it has to be done, both for 2010, and Confed Cup. Next week, is a trial run, there...

Re: Aiden de Gersigney - RIP

Aiden, thank you for everything you have done to get so many people flying, affordably. I am/ was one of them.
Everytime I see a AQUILLA now, I'll spare a thought.

Thanks you.

Re: Getting myself in the air again

I am in the same boat. haven't flown for 1 - 1 1/2 years. BUT, am a CPLH, and fly full time. Do I get any "credit's".
Also, anyone know where in JNB I can hire and fly?? Point is that I am not going to get everything sorted out, and tested if I cannot HF.

comments pls.

Re: And what airfield twas that........GP

Thanks for the heads up guys.... appreciated. Regarding Reg, well, that depends which machine is on duty - but it's easy, generally we're the only company, (that I know of) that uses Jet Rangers for vehicle searche's, and that's pretty much the only job application that would put us in that particul...

Re: And what airfield twas that........GP

yebo yes, that's it. Has someone got a "listing of all the smaller airfields in the area. Reason I ask is that there are alot of smaller fields that we hear of, (Summit, Orient, Laser, ( I think) etc) and have no clue where they are. Being new to the area, I hear people flying from A to B, and most ...

Hi all. Long time....yes, i'm still around. Have recently moved up to JNB ## and flying here now. Today I flew the midrand area quite abit, and there seem to be literally hundreds of private strips out there. However, there is one strip, with 2 intersecting runways, one grass, the other gravel. It i...
