Re: Plugs different colour each clyd

If the crank was twisted even slightly, the engine would vibrate like a crazy thing which obviously is not happening on your engine. So don't waste your time looking for spooks where there aren't any. If you must, you can check crank orientation through the plug holes as sujested in a previous post,...

Re: TOYOTA YARIS ENGINE

As I said in my first post, I am not in favour of using OEM ECU,s for the same reasons as you state. Re: TOYOTA YARIS ENGINE

Dear Boet The three cylinder Yaris engine seems to offer some advantages in terms of weight, size and availability over it's four cylinder counterpart, but as I understand it, the problem appears to be the lack of a suitable aftermarket ECU. I am not in favour of using the car ECU as it has features...

Re: Cubby ZU-DXU Rebuild Project

You must be the first person on the planet with balls enough to convert a tricycle Cubby back to how it should be - a tail dragger! I personally think that the tail dragger configuration looks much better than the tricycle, as just sitting on the ground it has the look of an aircraft that is waiting...

Re: Cobra with Toyota Yaris 1NZ motor :

"Will be using Dictator fuel management system and no fuel returns" Sounds like decision made, you may like to consider the following: 1 No fuel return... After engine shutdown, the fuel lines may absorb "mad heat" from the engine and vaporise the fuel causing a vapour lock. If this happens, the eng...
