bomskok - if you looking at microlight plans built then also have a look at the Piuma at the below link. It is wood construction, aluminium boom, t-tail enclosed pod and boom style pusher prop arrangement. http://www.piumaproject.com/ The Double Eagle uses a standard 1835 VW motor with minor changes...

thanks bomskok... had a look but still under construction. I very much like the side by side seating of the DE over the tandem seating.

Dish - there are a couple of SA built options - in kit form though and secondhand options for ready built. I am totally new to "microlights" so not just jumping at the first thing I see. Like you said though it is a great looking start point and I'm not really interested in "trikes". Tailspin - than...

Can somebody please enlighten me about the above LSA requirements. The stall speed is very loosely mentioned in most builder plans or kits! From reading various articles I am still confused about this for the LSA criteria... Above post states stall speed at gross landing configuration = less than 45...
