Re: flaperons

Hi Kinou,
Boet on this forum is most probably your best bet to get this type of answer - other than KFA ofcourse. I know one of our pilots in EL had a Vixen that he fitted with Bushbaby flaperons when he revamped her.

Re: Thunderbird - BMW R1200 Engine

Hi Air Hog,

So glad to hear CLR is performing very well, agreed she is a Gem. Hope you will get your conversion soon - then you will feel her perform like a little sports car when flying solo.
Good luck with both the conversion and getting the Thunderbird where it belongs in the air.

Re: Thunderbird - BMW R1200 Engine

Hi Air Hog, Glad to see you are moving again on this project. Seems like you had a bit of bad luck along the way but surley that is over and you will not be bottle fed any more as the triplet of Raquel Welsh. Can't wait to hear how your engine performs when you test her. How is CLR doing, are you fl...

Microlighters beware of fraudsters and scam artists

In a long search for a decent price on a GPS unit I came across the 2 web sites below with unbelievable prices for various GPS units. Alarm bells started ringing when following up and getting in touch with the details given, one in East London and one in Pietermaritzburg. Very exited I went to the a...

Re: TOYOTA YARIS ENGINE

Boet, have you considered the Volkswagen Polo 14 TDi 3 cylinder motor, it really performs well for the size it is and with the turbo will have some good HP and torque - should also be flippen fuel efficient at ± 20 - 22 Km/l in car no matter how you drive. Just a thought?

Re: Fire extinguishers

Hi All. Those interested in these extinguishers are spending good money after bad. They must not be discharged into the atmosphere but returned...

Re: TOYOTA YARIS ENGINE

Hi Boet, just a thought to help, but fully understand your drive to tackle this one on your own - your way. We all wait in anticipation for your success on this project - man it would be sweet to have an great aerie, built by a master with a cool not so thirsty engine for under 200k. You will be swa...

Re: TOYOTA YARIS ENGINE

Hi Boet, I too am watching this project with keen interest and have corresponded with you via PM before in this regard. I share the sentiments of Petrodactyl that cost should not be an issue here for such an important development. I certainly will support an initiative to assist with the Research an...

How about Essex or just SX (after David Essex and his song - "The silver dream machine")
