I have a mate that lives out of the country that would like to do his Micro license.
I know it is a bit like a piece of string but can someone advise as to how long it would take and what would the cost be.
I am a PPL with N/R (+ 350 hrs) and might also want to do it, advice please.

The short answer is that you cannot do flips legally at the moment. You can register a school and use exercise 3(intro flights). Remember the law is very clear on this, the moment you charge for a service it becomes a commercial operation. This same rule applies to guys building aircraft for custom...

OK, dumb question but besides the legal issue (obviously and I am not suggesting that you break the law), why would you not fly a trike at night? Serious question.
If you had the standard "T" set-up on the dash, it would be any more diffecult than in a AC, no?

OK, OK, so I still don't get the answer, ....so what do you do if you want to charge for flips ala Balito and South Coast etc..? How do they do it?
