Hi, Painted my exhaust with aerosol stove paint. Withstands temps of 700 degrees. Bought it at our local Mica Store. Price R90.00 Really works well.
Tends to burn away a bit at the manifold, but is fine on the exhaust!

Thanks, one of the rivited plates came loose, damaging all the wiring on the coil. yes you guessed it........ENGINE OUT, fotunately landed safely in a ploughed field!! I would say it is beyond repair.

With my limited flying knowledge i would say it is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! The remaining wing would still be causing lift, therefore the plane would spiral like a kork screw.

Wiring of the Hobbs Meter.
My Hobbs meter is connected to the ignition. If the ignition is left on , the meter carries on ticking.
I was told that the Hobbs can be connected to the mags. Is this true, if so could someone please let me know how to connect. Thanks
