Re: New Gyro coming to SA!
It's basically a Xenon. Looking at the performance specs, I would like to see those on the Highveld. The figures do not tally. I do not know what is a 912HP. If it is a normal 912S (100HP), the advertised lifting performance is not possible. If it is a super special turbo something, then the range i...

Re: !!!! SAGPA AGM !!!!
Hi George, Thank you for your efforts to make SAGPA better. Thank you also for your invitation to join SAGPA and it will probably be my resolution for the new year, as I see a definite willingness to clean up some of the wrongs of the past. I had also a private and friendly chat with Magnificent to ...

Re: !!!! SAGPA AGM !!!!
Did I trigger this confession ?
Or is this just an account of what SAGPA is meant to do ?
I find it very defensive... Why ?

Re: !!!! SAGPA AGM !!!!
Hi Johan VL !
That is great news for SAGPA. Thanks for bringing your expertise to this group.
Are you telling me that I have now no reason anymore not to join SAGPA ?
Wishing you a good time, and I think that the SAGPA members should be very honored to have you in the team.

Re: Xenon RST Mast pics 01 August
The way it is positioned, I can see a big "dust collector", confusing with what comes out of the tank.

Re: Xenon RST overhead panel pics 26 July
Hi Greg, The 3rd bolt in pic 2 was called for in the original drawing that I have and I did not even questioned that. The Polish removed it as your machine was not built in France but in Poland by Artur and Cellier. They thought that this was an improvement very much in the same line than your thoug...

Greg, here are the mast attachments that I have done. Please note the spacers.

Re: Xenon RST new pics 21 July
Hi Gregg,
I did not intend hurting your feelings with the word "brag". To the contrary, we all brag about what we do (only when it is a success !) and I am one of those.
Great pity that those who pm you do not share their experience with others. Keep the good work !

Re: Xenon RST new pics 21 July
Greg, remember that you do all this hard work only for yourself. When you are going to take someone up and hope to brag about your workmanship, it will pass way over his head and he won't even appreciate all your efforts. In the end, seeing the threads of your switch will not give a nervous breakdow...

Keep it simple. The most expensive instrument on the panel.

Re: Xenon RST read what i say on page 6!
Hi Greg, I think that Cellier is covering his back side with this bulletin. We must go back into the history of the Xenon. I went to France with 2 others to test the Xenon for the future SA agents. I met there very interesting people and kept contact with them. I also learned that Raphael Cellier is...
Re: Xenon RST new pics 16 July - almost more drama
These are 2 pics about the heel plate, open and closed. You will probably make a neater job, but it is serving its purpose, i.e. to have the 2 heels at the same level and at the same time storage for books, and various tools. Obviously 2 units, pax and pilot. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6-Z_m...
Re: Xenon RST new pics 16 July - almost more drama
Hi Greg, I am very interested in what you are going to do re locking wire in the above pic. I spent a long time in judging the risk of that bolt coming lose. And if it does come lose, it would then be easy for the safety wire, regardless how it is passed through various holes, to retain the bolt to ...
