I see that training is offered in the Brakpan area, but ideally I'm looking for something a bit closer to home. Is there perhaps a school at Tedderfield or FAKR? ...

Hi Alanmack I've just now read your post, and I'm not sure if it's maybe too late now. If you still need photos, please have a look at the Swartkops thread with all the photos - amongst them you will find some of my photos. Please let me know if there is any particular one that you would like me to ...

Re: Advice please - PPL or NPL
Hi Lourens & AirHog
Thanks for the advice!
It seems the way to go is to finish the PPL on a Jabi or similar, and then take it from there, depending on what I purchase to fly with.
Best regards
Francois

Re: Advice please - PPL or NPL
Thanks Dish & Justin Am I right in thinking that if I only fly LSA aircraft, that I will be able to maintain the PPL? E.g. If I fly say a Thunderbird, will this count for maintaining the PPL? If I hold a PPL, can I convert to a trike, or is another (new) licence required? Sorry if my questions are a...

Re: Advice please - PPL or NPL
Thanks Tumbleweed, I will be flying for my own recreation only,so NPL should be sufficient.
I see there is another guy that posted a similar question on Avcom, only a few hours after I posted mine here. I'll study his post, and all the comments on that post too.
Best regards
Francois
