Re: Justin's Raven

The clients i build aircraft for often try to rush me on ^ ^ ^ but they have not built an aircraft yet and therefore DONT understand the meaning of ...

Re: VW engines what prop
Hi German, i have done apprx 70hrs with one of the R2300 engines(the newer version), however the company has been producing engines since 1967. I am more than satisfied with performance , bang-for-buck ratio is not to be beaten easily. We have sold 4 to date, two are flying in Bushbaby aircraft and ...

Re: VW engines what prop
Revmaster can take wood/composite/metal props....even an oil -controlled constant speed prop Revmaster had lots of problems with that CSU metal prop setup and canned it completely. If its direct drive stick to a wooden prop. Very true , that was the Maloof prop to be exact, BUT and HOWEVER, those p...

Re: VW engines what prop

Re: VW engines what prop
Go Vert, the Revmaster series can use composite props Ivo, and Warp-drive because of the 4340 chromolly cranck and the big no 4 main bearing at the prop-hub end. However from personal experience with said engine a P-prop works best , believe me. The Revmaster 2332cc uses a 64x38 prop with a nice wid...

Re: Building the new Bushbaby SAFARI
Hi Oupa-G , yes this is off the norm , my brother is a motor-mac and he recently showed me an Opel Corsa engine which uses the same method on the big-end caps. I must say i was slightly "horrified" and surprised by this new and innovative engineering method

As that arrogant cat, Garfield , says : "too much of a good thing is WONDERFULL "KFA wrote:Too much power is just enough If it fits under the cowl, it's too small
I agree with KFA and Oupa-G
