correct is 1000 hours but does not often get there. normally needs to be done shortly after 800 hours. depends on blow bys and condition of engine.

Have you complied with Jabiru recommendations to fit the longer bolts with 9 washers on the bolts. this seems to fix the problem of the nuts coming loose. I also had this problem but it has not happened since i did the mod.

Bottom line is that if the owner of the airfield wishes to charge landing fees it is his choice as it is your choice to land there or not. If you don't want to pay his landing fees don't go there.
