correct is 1000 hours but does not often get there. normally needs to be done shortly after 800 hours. depends on blow bys and condition of engine.

I presume I am bit late in making a comment on this post. You stay on 126.4 till on ground at civil and call on 126.4 before you takeoff.

Have you complied with Jabiru recommendations to fit the longer bolts with 9 washers on the bolts. this seems to fix the problem of the nuts coming loose. I also had this problem but it has not happened since i did the mod.

So much negativity on the site. Why not say, great idea but is it possible to waiver landing fees for a fly in to Hoedspruit. Here is someone trying to do something for flying and he gets shot down.

Bottom line is that if the owner of the airfield wishes to charge landing fees it is his choice as it is your choice to land there or not. If you don't want to pay his landing fees don't go there. Runways cost money to maintain, this must come from somewhere. MOST people that land at Hoedspruit pay ...
