How many hours has this engine done ?
What type of aircraft was it's original "home"
Carb or injected
Hows the bottom end looking ie case, crank, cam, follows etc

I also nearly got taken with the same senerio, nice body (camera) and a aftermarket lens (non Canon). Luckly i studied the OPD forum and came across an posting by the owner of the said equipment. He said he used the lens twice and threw it into his cupboard as it was to slow etc for his use. :shock:...

If you hang on till January/Feb, you will see a lot more camera's and lens popping up for sale, for reasons i'm sure you will understand. Keep an eye on this site, second hand camera's and lens pop up here daily.
Purchased my little 350d through ODP and got value for money.
Outdoorphoto shop is in Pretoria.
