  I agree with John.com. If you have made a mistake, you should take it on the chin like a man and apologise and beg for mercy and move on. I am sure he will still realise that he was wrong and come back to the fraternity with his tail between his legs. Let's now move on and dream about ...

Re: Rhino Poaching by helicopter
One thing coming out from all the postings is that we are passionate about conservation and if it is true that a fellow aviator has stooped so low as to utilise his skills to kill these wonderful beasts he/she will pay dearly if identified. I agree that the anti poaching police unit must be re-intro...

Re: ATT Funeral Wake
After all the insults that Rotax has received related to costly parts and exhorbetant engine prices this living mechanical legend once again proves that when utilised on a regular basis and cared for you will get great service from the Rotax motors. The donor 503 has 160 hours on it currently and ma...

Re: Prayers for Aiden.
We can not predict the future....what I can predict is that Christ will give us peace and rest should we allow him to guide and lead us into His will. Aiden I pray that you will release all fears and worries and place it in God's hands and allow His healing power to flow through your body and may th...

Sorry about the damage guys, hope you all are in the air soon.

Re: Smokey 582
Hi Spurwing, The only reason why a 2 stroke would smoke excessively and continuously while all the parameters e.g. EGT and Water temp is fine and sounds healthy is that the oil mixture is to rich. If you have an auto oil lube system it could be that it is faulty. Remove it and pre-mix your fuel 1:50...

Howzit,
Speak to Yenja from AEROSSA - 0828538239. He is based at Petit airfield.
You get better performance as the new fabric will be tighter and improve the aero dynamics.
Have fun

Hi Boatch, I am referring to what Z-MRP informed you about as the High Execution radiator sold by Aviation Engines. 2 small radiator units on either side of the cylinder head and preferably mounted higher than the exhaust port when mounted on a trike as your passenger mostly blocks some of the airfl...

Re: Oil again
Hi Robin Hood, There are a couple of us at Petit who use the BP Vsitra synthetic. I have a 618 Rotax and due to the carbon build up in the rave valve system I do not use mineral. I opened the rave valves for inspection last weekend and there was no sight of carbon build up. It is a great product and...
