To heat up the bearing lubrication, do a couple of hard taxi runs before balancing, otherwise you will find that the bearings are "stiff" and wheel does not stop in the same position every time, unless VERY unbalanced. Last Thursday's BEELD had an article which stated that a gunsmith cannot mess up the firearm without a clearance from the Police. This makes a difference.

Just to clarify, Alex did not have a problem with the advantages of the pump, just a concern about the legality (red tape) of the addition, as well as the insurance issues.

Personally I think it does not really make a difference where you put the pump, or the filter, whichever way you look at it. Admittedly, it may be advantageous to keep moths and crawlies away from the pump, but the Facet is a robust basic electromechanical pump that should only fail when you get som...
