i didnt have to have x-rays apparently because it was a class 4 medical for a microlight. I did the lung test where you blow as hard as you can through a pipe and the heart test where they put those sticky pads all over your chest. then he tested my hearing and sight but that was it.

went to do my medical this morning at a guy in benoni, passed evrything so next year i can get my student license (cost R350)

got 7.4 hours dual logged so far with lessons booked every day from the 2nd of jan to the 9th

Well he might as well ban sand roads as well as they are the same thing or mowing your lawn cause you might just use it as an air field

what a bunch of dumb bloody twats!! thats one of the stupidest things i have ever heard!!

i had a great flight this morning, flew for 2.2 hours, did some really low level flying over mielie fields and simulated dead stick landings as well... :D

Hi guys my dad has a nearly brand new rotax 582 engine and his friend has a wing off of a windlass that we can use so i was just wondering if it is possible to just buy an A- frame and accesories and fit these to it?

just bought this book today from wings and things in sandton it is very informative and seems to cover every thing for your MPL.....any body else read it?
