Re: Eben Mocke

Shockingly sad news! Thanks be to the Gods that it wasn't far worse or even fatal. Let this serve as a warning to all of us. Eben has been around microlights, aeroplanes and gyro's almost all of his life. If it can happen to someone with his vast experience then BEWARE! The Gyro fraternity in the We...

Ho-hum... Lies. McHarge welded NOTHING for eg.
I am reminded why I have Vos on ignore.
Contact CAA (that approved the repairs by issuing a new ATF) if you question my, the AP, AMO and CAA's honesty.
Out.

Where can I find Gerhard Roux's checklist of things to be aware of when buying a Gyro?
(Besides Nick Prinsloo :-)

Re: Gyro headsets

I am not the agent, bought mine at Oshkosh and use Pual's (Zulu1) helmets :-)

I know that Robin Coss Aviation stocks Bose A20's.

Re: Arrowcopter bankrupt!

Little birdie told me this may be very good news.

7 original members of AC have bought the rights and are continuing.
This means the R&D gets written off.
Perhaps we can expect to see AC's at half the price soon.

Re: Certified Auto-Gyro Cavalon

Great news for our sport! Well done. Now we need to see some work on the rotors; finding the perfect foil shape through the speed differential of the rotor and then to design the optimum size/power/weight ratio. 4 seater type certified are a real possibility now but they have to be faster to be viab...

Re: ALL SYCAMORE OWNERS

Re: WHY ARE SO FEW WOMEN FLYING RECREATIONALLY

Gyro's are much easier to handle, far more turbulence-tollerant, and some come enclosed with heating (Chicken or Beef?) usually you need deep pockets. There are only 4 female Gyro pilots in SA that I know of. Sad.
