Re: PM Messages

My understanding is it sits in the outbox until the recipient receives / reads it.

Maybe the recipients inbox is full or he does not frequent the forum?

Re: Street legal gyro

Hehe if you turn the prop to an optimal position I don't think it will protrude much further than the horizontal stabilizer. This kit is obviously not a good solution for the everyday commute... but... Maybe the electric motor (and the rest of the kit) is a good solution for safely taxiing/driving f...

Re: Street legal gyro

Looks like they protect the rotors with some kind of cabling system over the rotor head.

Street legal gyro

Since its so quiet in here (Is Avcom the official gyro forum now?), and I thought it was pretty interesting, here is a street legal Autogyro Calidus conversion from the Czech Republic. Looks like they added some side mirrors and an electric motor to drive the front wheel (From rotary forum): http://...

Wanted: ! Magni M22 !

Hi, As the title says I am looking for a gyro for slightly longer trips that has some packing space, and good endurance. From my limited experience I take it that means an M22, MT03/MTO-sport and at a stretch a Calidus. The Ela, M16 and M24 did not seem to have any meaningful packing space using eye...

Re: !!!! SAGPA AGM !!!!

I removed my earlier post bemoaning the fact that for me, a hopefully new gyro pilot, there is 0 information available on what SAGPA has done the last year in order for me to decide whether to join SAGPA or not. Even the events calendar has nothing in it. The new AGM video posted on the SAGPA facebo...

That is scary. I would have something stronger than a beer if I found that on my gyro!

Re: Xenon RST new pic 16 August

Looks very nice! Compares well with the newer Xenon panels! I like the way they gave the status lights maximum sun protection.

Re: Xenon RST last pics before paint 05/08

Hi, Looking good. Just be careful with the venting holes on the side. From basic physics warm air rises so naturally the higher the vent the better. That's probably why the factory vent is at the highest point of the panel enclosure. We find with the instruments we design that some forced induction ...

Re: Xenon RST Mast pics 01 August

Is it spring loaded to put some pressure on the tube to stop it from rattling? Looking forward to seeing the document storage solution. I can echo the observation about it always looking like an afterthought. Best solution I have seen to date was where the seat folds forward revealing a dedicated st...
