Lebanon on Citrus? Anyone been there?

Has anyone flown into Lebanon on Citrus, between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam? http://lebanon.co.za/ What is the condition of their grass strip? Any overhead lines or other potential hazards to be aware of? What about the terrain around the strip and rotor/turbulence generators in the prevailing winds?...

Re: Those Bastards who sell me this Stuff

I had some Stainless Steel springs made up by Hesper Springs in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. I took them a sample and asked them to use thicker wire, and to aim at slightly more spring tension. Collected them next day and flew many happy years with them, on a system where the manufacturer's original s...

Any problems with Customs, Police, Military, aviation authorities, etc. Can anyone help with info or contacts? Many t...

Re: S&R Presentation - MORNINGSTAR 23 September 2010

Whoops, stupid me... Don't know how I failed to notice that, especially after telling so many people to RTFS (Read The F%@#* Screen).

OK, starting time is perfect. Now let's hope for perfect weather.

Re: S&R Presentation - MORNINGSTAR 23 September 2010

Any idea of what time it will take place?
Sunset that day will be 18h41 local, so it would be great if we can do a late evening/sunset flight just before the meeting...
Just an idea.

Re: S&R Presentation - MORNINGSTAR 23 September 2010

I will definitely be there, as I am sure a whole bunch of other paramotor pilots too.
Will get together a list of names/numbers for catering purposes.

Honeybees looking for a new home

Not quite aviation related, but many pilots live on small-holdings and farms, so here goes... I shall shortly have a surplus of a few honeybee hives, hence require somewhere to place some of these... so if you have a smallholding or some farmland near Cape Town, and no existing beehives to pollinate...
